How to become a werewolf in the Sims 4
To join the ranks of a werewolf pack, you must first become a werewolf. But you can only catch the curse of lycanthropy if you are not affiliated with any other creature group (vampires, aliens and fairies). There are several ways you can become a werewolf, only some are easier than others.
These are the options:
This is the easiest option of all. When making a new Sim, select the “Add Occult Sim Option” and then “Add Werewolf.” Your new Sim will be plagued by the curse from the start.
- Being bitten by another werewolf
If you’re currently working on a career and don’t want to leave your Sim to make a new one, this is the way to do it. First, you need to get to Moonwood Mill and find a werewolf to provoke into a melee. It will take a few days in-game for your Sim to transform, and the signs like hunger and mood swings will be the first to appear. A red aura will be visible on your Sim in the lower left corner of the screen before the transformation.
If you want to be bitten on a voluntary basis, you can also befriend a werewolf. At some point you will have the social interaction option to ask for a bite. However, to make it work this way, they need to have “Curse Bearer” unlocked.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Select the werewolf and open the menu in the lower right corner of the screen where the happiness meter is located.
- Click on the option “Ability Points.”
- In the “Werewolf Abilities” menu, you will see the “Curse Bearer”. Unlock it to continue.

For the last option, you need two werewolves to start a relationship and have a child. If both parents are werewolves, the chance is 100%, and if one of them is human, there is a 50% chance. But just like the voluntary bite option, it takes time. Be patient and work on it. - cheats

Press CTRL + SHIFT + C to open the command line, then type or paste “traits.equip_trait trait_occultwerewolf” and press ENTER to confirm. The same can be done on the console version of the game. On Xbox, press and hold “LT + RT + LB + RB” for a few seconds. And on PlayStation, “L1 + L2 + R1 + R2”. This will open the cheats menu where you can find the hidden transformation cheat.

Now it’s time to choose a pack, join it and finally become the alpha. There are two options: the Wildfangs and the Moonwood Collective. The former believes that a werewolf should be animal, wild, free and a hunter. The latter are a civilized group and live similarly to the human Sims, who try to tame the wild side. Once you have decided, you must do the following:
1. Befriend the pack leader
Good relationships are a key to becoming a full member. For Wildfangs, you will need to find Rory Oaklow and be friendly with her. Note that she does not have a single location, so use the “Manage worlds” option to find her. For the Moonwood Collective, you’ll need to befriend Kristopher Volkov at the Collective cabin.
Just like any other relationship, you need to reach 40% – 59% on the relationship scale to be considered a friend.
2. Ask them to join
When you become a friend of the group, social interaction with the leader will be available. After that you will be challenged to complete three trials of your choice to prove yourself.
3. Complete the given challenges
“Demonstrate housekeeping,” “Give an unusual or rare collectible,” and “Give excellent quality food” are considered the easiest for beginners. Regardless of the package you choose, the trials will be the same.
4. Ask for a full membership
After completing the challenges, talk to the alpha again to make it official. Do not worry. If you are friends with both groups, it will not affect the relationship. However, you can only join one of the groups for that playthrough.
Now you are an official member of a werewolf pack. Make sure you play the game according to the pack values to move up the ranks. And once you’re ready, challenge the alpha for leadership.
